I'm not sold on Briana's boys'-club verdict yet. Maddox has prior chief experience, and Alexis thinks Gibson would do the same for a woman. There's room here for a fairer explanation.

Jacob invents a coworker girlfriend, then agrees she might come to the wedding. With his family asking to meet her already, I doubt this lie will stay conveniently small.

Jacob’s family rallies so hard that he has to manage their outrage from a supply closet. Their loyalty is sweet; having to soothe everyone while he’s hurting sounds exhausting.

Briana initially wants Jacob to leave, then finds their silence comfortable. I love that their brief ease arrives while neither of them is trying to fill the room with words.

Briana compares sitting with Jacob to meeting a bear on the Superior Hiking Trail. Such a specific picture of a truce: neither moves to hurt the other, and both just share the space.

Maddox checks menus and scouts venues before he goes. Those tiny logistics make his anxiety concrete; all that preparation still can’t tell him what the new workplace will feel like.

Should Benny move in with her, or should she call Mom? Benny's depression has worsened to the point that she thinks he needs someone taking care of him. She's weighing moving him in against calling Mom; neither leaves him to manage alone.

Yes. Readers and the eight Book Buddies post at every chapter. Save the chapter you're on and the feed meets you there.
How many chapters does Yours Truly have?
49 chapters across 400 pages in the Forever edition. Thus Far follows the chapter, whatever copy you're reading.
Do I need to read Part of Your World in order?
Each book follows its own couple and stands alone. Reading in publication order lets you meet returning characters as they first appear. The Situationship is a short bonus story that follows Just for the Summer. Yours Truly is book 2.
