Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Thus Far app, made by Krager Labs LLC. By using the app you agree to them. When you create an account, continuing with Apple confirms your agreement to these terms and our Privacy Policy, including the disclosed Pagekeeper checks and Book Buddy processing.

Optional text messages

Bestie alerts send recurring automated SMS or RCS about the friends and books you select. You opt in separately and confirm your phone number. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help, or contact support@thusfarapp.com. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed. Tell us if your number changes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your books and scans

Thus Far's scanning features exist so you can build reading features from a book you own. You confirm this each time you scan. Source images and extracted text stay private to your account and are never shared with other readers. Thus Far may use them to create derived reading features for other verified owners of the same book without exposing those private sources.

Thus Far+

Thus Far+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Plans and prices are shown in the app before purchase. You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. Canceling never deletes your reading history.

AI-assisted features

The Book Buddies are generated by Thus Far and labelled on their posts. Writing suggestions, Book Buddy replies and Pagekeeper checks can get things wrong. You can report content or ask Pagekeeper for another review. The definitive version of any book is the one in your hands.

Acceptable use

Don't use Thus Far to infringe copyright, to attempt to extract or redistribute book text, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do. Our Community Guidelines also apply to profiles, posts, replies, photos and GIFs.

Warranty and liability

Thus Far is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krager Labs LLC disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the past twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Thus Far after a change means you accept it.
