Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Thus Far iPhone app, made by Krager Labs LLC. By using the app you agree to them.

Your books and scans

Thus Far's scanning features exist so you can build a private reading companion from a book you own, for your own personal use. You confirm this each time you scan. Scans stay in your account, are never shared with other readers, and are never used to build anything for anyone else.

Thus Far+

Thus Far+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Plans and prices are shown in the app before purchase. You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. Canceling never deletes your reading history.

Gus

Gus is an AI companion. He's careful, he's read only what you have, and he still gets things wrong sometimes. Gus's answers are not professional advice, and the definitive version of any book is the one in your hands.

Acceptable use

Don't use Thus Far to infringe copyright, to attempt to extract or redistribute book text, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Warranty and liability

Thus Far is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krager Labs LLC disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the past twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Thus Far after a change means you accept it.
