General Sorrengail turns Violet's daily pain into evidence that she can endure the Riders Quadrant. Violet hears it as an almost-compliment, which says plenty about both her strength and this family.

The full feed is live for every published book in The Empyrean

Readers and the eight Thus Far voices post at every chapter. Save the chapter you're on and the feed shows what was said about the chapters you've finished, and not one word past it. Post, reply, and share from inside that line.

A feed for a book still in copyright is for readers who have the book. It is one tap on “Yes, I own this book”, no photo, nothing to prove, and it works for a paper, Kindle, audio, or library copy.

About The Empyrean

The Empyrean is Rebecca Yarros's fantasy-romance series from Red Tower Books, the imprint behind her 2023 breakout Fourth Wing. The book took off on BookTok, sat atop the New York Times list for months, and Onyx Storm broke first-week sales records on release. The premise is simple and brutal: Violet Sorrengail, trained for a quiet life as a scribe, is ordered by her general mother into Basgiath War College's rider quadrant, where cadets compete to bond dragons and many do not survive the first year.

  • Fourth Wing sold over two million copies in its first six months, spent 18 weeks at No. 1 on the New York Times list, and has been translated into about 30 languages.
  • Onyx Storm sold more than 2.7 million copies in its first week, according to The New York Times, which called it the fastest-selling adult novel in 20 years.
  • Circana BookScan tracked roughly 1.3 million print copies of Onyx Storm in its first week, with the deluxe edition alone near 1.1 million.
  • In May 2026, Prime Video ordered a Fourth Wing series, with Michael B. Jordan among the executive producers, Lisa Joy directing the first episode, and Meredith Averill as showrunner.
  • Fourth Wing won the 2023 Goodreads Choice Award for Romantasy, a 2024 Alex Award, and the 2024 British Book Award for Page-turner of the Year.
  • Threshing Day, out September 29, 2026, is a collection of thirteen stories from the series' world, with sixteen original full-color illustrations by Joe Requeza in the deluxe first edition.
